Haven't gotten lots of RSVPs to this event yet, on Saturday in the Oakland/Piedmont hills. Please, please come; I'd love for my first event cache to be a raging success.

Sorry. I would, but it's Labor Day weekend and the hubby and I will be out in the mountains camping. I'm sure that's going to effect the number of folks.

Hope it turns out great, though.

Well, you got your wish (IMO) . . . I thought the event definitely qualified as "Raging Success." We had such a great time . . . thanks again! :)

Here's the funniest part: I was just going over my emails with KG3 about setting this up, and in one of the messages was this:

(PS: fact is, my idea of throwing a big party is mostly a colossal excuse, both to meet you and your clan and to see if I can lure my old UCB homie Jef into poking distance... ;)

And bedamned if Jef didn't, in fact, show up! Heheh.
